Restaurant Dar Zitoun Taroudant

A pancake ? The best creperie ever!

This creperieAgadir surprises in good, in excellence even! The boss is not Breton, as one might imagine. Named Simo, he is very Moroccan. And he understood it all, having worked in restaurants in Paris and Quebec. Besides, there isa creperie of the same name in Montreal. The result ?"A pancake ?" is a little gem, trendy and fresh, both in the decor and in the plate.

The relatively small volume occupied by the restaurant has been used with consummate skill and efficiency. The bamboos that occupy the bottom of the ground floor are bathed in a well of light, to give a successful effect of depth. The decor adopts a fashionable and young style that pleases.

Freshness and lightness

As it should be in a creperie, the menu is short, while biting into other territories, such as hamburgers (big burger at 59 dh), salads, omelettes, quiches and eggs benedict served with salad and hash browns (40 for the Calabrian and Florentine, 45 dh for the Scandinavian). The products themselves are extremely fresh. The proof is given by the fruit juices, obviously pressed by the minute, which can be ordered in very different varieties, such as the lemon-ginger couple (16 dh) and, of course, the orange, queen of the Souss, combined with mango or even raspberry.

The pancakes themselves are combined according to three formulas: wheat, buckwheat (the healthiest) and half-wheat, half-buckwheat. The possible combinations are multiple, both in savory and sweet versions. So much so that it is perfectly conceivable that a pancake will appear on your plate that is not only vegetarian, but also meets the criteria of dissociated products (Montignac diet).

Lightness is the key word here. Don't come to Une crêpe? if you have a gargantuan appetite worthy of a lumberjack. On the other hand, rush there urgently if you are a fan of the finesse of the products and dishes!
