World-renowned surf spots
The Atlantic coast near Agadir is home to world-renowned beaches for surfing and kitesurfing using parasailing.
The climate of Agadir makes it possible to practice these sports all year round. Better, the conditions that reign on these spots are regular, so that it is possible to surf there at least four to five hours a day (if one has the necessary physical condition ...).
The most accessible spots (see the large detailed map below): Devil's Rock (Devil's Rock) and Banana Beach , Boilers, Killer Point, or even Hash Point, just over an hour from the Jardin aux Etoiles.
Further north, are also recommended: Immesouane (80 km from Agadir anyway) and Essaouira (170 km by a winding road). To the south, Mirleft , Ifni and Plage Blanche, although more distant, also benefit from favorable conditions.
The WannaSurf site details the characteristics of these spots, and in particular whether they are intended for experienced surfers or for all.
For equipment rental, contact Aloha surf camp , for example, which offers boards at € 10 per day, as well as "Discovery" or "Weekend" packages.

Surfing, but also kitesurfing
Kitesurfing, sometimes called flysurfing, involves sliding on a surfboard while being pulled by a kite, which functions like a kite. Agadir Surf organizes initiation courses: € 30 for one hour, € 150 for 6 hours.
