Pure Passion: very good dishes, impersonal service

Located on the northern harbor of Agadir Marina, the Pure Passion restaurant is highly rated. It is even considered the number one table in Agadir on Tripadvisor . The content of the plate is certainly excellent. But the service is of the "industrial" type: impersonal, without heat. The atmosphere is rather snobbish.

The Pure Passion website announces that the owner is named Mr. Karel. It has a farm that delivers organic vegetables and fruit to the restaurant. Very good. The products appear to be of excellent quality.

You can feel the presence of a strong battalion in the kitchen, which masters its subject. Most of the menu offers classics of the French table, with a very marked presence of seafood and some infidelities on the Italian side. The ones we tested were successful.

Bay window

A large bay window overlooks the Marina, but it is not open to the outside. This is only appreciable when the weather is cool - which is rare in Agadir - and the atmosphere suffers. In addition to the main room, which seats around 80, there are cozy, more discreet doorways, as well as a bar and lounges.

Regarding service, we can speak of a squadron that flies around a lot. The economic system on which Pure Passion is based wants it to offer, to serve and to cash in fairly quickly. If the waiters had taken a human relations course or were not padlocked in a corset that interferes with their friendliness, the outcome would be much better. But apparently Pure Passion prefers to play it impersonal, a bit haughty. Pity.

Relatively expensive

Here you have to have a well-stocked wallet. The dishes are relatively expensive and no menu is offered to keep the painful in a reasonable niche.

Obviously, part of the clientele came to see and be seen. Hence a certain snobbery that emerges from the room.
